Netflix <The King : Eternal Monarch> ep.1 locations <ザ・キング: 永遠の君主>１話 のロケ地

<The King : Etental Monarch> and might be my most favorite drama in 2020.

there are many points that make the drama more interesting. for instace, not only the romance between Lee gon(Lee min ho)and Jeong Tae eul(Kim go-eun) but the parallel worlds. 

最近、イ・ミンホとキムコウンの新しいキムウンスックのドラマ<ザ・キング: 永遠の君主＞に夢中だ。

色んな興味深いポイントあるが、その中で一番気にってるのはイ・ゴンとチョン・テウルの恋愛と、平行世界という世界観設定。

 

Today, I will review the locations of <The King : Eternal Monarch> ep.1. 

今回は<ザ・キング: 永遠の君主＞１話に出たドラマロケ地を探してみた。

 

 

• 조정경기장 Boat Race Course where Lee gon won the boat race　競艇場 

 

 

This place is Misari boat and canoe race course at Misari, Gyeongi. 

イ・ゴンが勝ったこの競艇場は渼沙里ボート競技場だ。

渼沙里ボート競技場について詳しくは上のサイトに出ていた。

Here is the boat race court that NAVY 88th class won the firt place. 

イ・ゴンとイ・ゴンの海軍士官学校同期と漕艇競技で優勝した所だ。

It was difficult to find because the road where lee gon ran after the clock rabbit and the boat race course are not at the same place. 

ただ、この競技場と、この場面の後、イ・ゴンが走る所が全然違う所で、ちょっと場所探しが難しかった。

 

 

 

• 이곤이 시계토끼를 쫓아 뛰어 가는 곳 Where Lee gon ran after the clock rabbit or Luna イ・ゴンが走る所

 

 

Where Luna was running and Lee gon ran after her is around Bexco in Busan.

A girl in the bus said " Mom, His Majesty is really folloing the White Rabbit with the clock." 

イ・ゴンがルナを発見して走る場所は漕艇競技場から凄く離れている釜山だった。

釜山のBEXCOの周りだ。あの場所で、走ってるイ・ゴンを見ながら、イ・ゴンに先に質問した少女がママに電話するところ。その後、イ・ゴンがいなくなった時、またチョ・ヨンが探しにくる場所でもある。

The distance between Misari and Bexco is very long. can guess how difficult to star, shoot, edit the drama. 

 

 

 

• 정태을이 범인 잡는 곳 An apartment where Jeong Tae-eul caught the criminal チョン・テウルが犯人を捕らえる場所

 

 

Jeong Tae Eul found a body in the trunk and was changing the case from an illegal gambling website case to a murder case. the "Lee sang do"case. 

チョン・テウルが単純闇サイト事件だと思って来たが、殺人事件に転換する場所だ。

犯人を捕らえるチョン・テウルも格好良かったが、またチョン・テウルの衣装と銀杏の黄色が似合わって綺麗な場面もあったシーンだった。

 

 

 

This place is an apartment in Seoul. Shinmi Apartment at Youngdeungpo. This scene was impressive because color of Jeong tae eul's clothes and ginko was very harmonious and beautiful. 

ここはソウルのアパートで、ヨンドンポの近くにある場所だ。

 

 

 

• 대한제국 이곤의 승마장 Lee gon's stable (A horseriding course of the kingdom of corea)　大韓帝国皇帝の乗馬場

 

 

This horse riding cours is in Gangwon-do. 

この乗馬場はカンウォンにある。スキー場だけじゃなく乗馬場まであるのは知らなかった。

At this scene and palce, Lee gon whistles and Maximus follows his whistles. <- goood... 

and Lee gon found an illusion of Luna or something and was going to check whether it's a clock or a rabbit. 

このシーンでイ・ゴンが口笛を吹いて、またマクシムスがその音をついて走って来るのが格好良かった。

イ・ゴンはマクシムスとあの竹の森行く中。。。

 

 

 

• 평행세계의 문, 대나무 숲 The door of the two parallel worlds, the bamboo forest of <The King : Eternal Monarch>  平行世界の扉。竹の森。

This bamboo forest is Gijang nine mt forest in near Busan.

Aka the best scene of the episode 1, "What's wrong, Maximus?" 

Because this bamboo forest is the door of the parallel worlds so that here will show in the show several times. 

一話で、一番話題になったあのシーン。”どうしたの、マクシムス”

竹の森が異世界の扉のためこの後にもしょっちゅうもしくはいつもでるかも。

 

 

 

• 이곤과 정태을이 처음으로 만나는 곳 Where Lee gon's first place in the republic of Korea ; Lee gon and Jeong Tae eul's first encounter イ・ゴンとチョン・テウルが初めて出会う場所。

 

 

Gwanghwamun plaza is sympolic. The plaza is kind of political symbol and center of Seoul in Republic of Korea.

I think because of the reasons, Lee-eul couple meet at the Gwanghwamun plaza. 

And the night view of there was good as much as Lee-eul's first hug. 

 

 光化門広場は大韓民国にとって意味深い場所。政治的にも、位置的にも、歴史的にも。ソウルの中心でもある。

だから、イ・ゴンとチョン・テウルがこの広場で会ったんじゃないかなと個人的におもっている。

それから、あの夜景も綺麗し。

これからのイ・ゴンとチョン・テウルの物語はどうなるかな。ドキドキだ。
